TabTrade Overview - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
