Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and check here the bonus terms, website is at TradeTheDay.
